The Meaning of Mary Magdalene.

Recently, St. Gregory's hosted the first ever film night in the Parish Hall showing the 2019 critically-acclaimed Mary Magdalene on the big screen! Sixty people showed up for the film as a way to kick off the launch of Fr. Ben's 2020 Wednesday night Wisdom Circle and their study of Cynthia Bourgeault's The Meaning of Mary Magdalene: Discovering the Woman at the Heart of Christianity. Thirty books have been sold so far as his group is getting to know the real Mary Magdalene through the eyes of Scripture as the beloved Apostle to the Apostles and the model of Unitive Wisdom and Redemptive Love. It was such a successful and deep evening of food, film, and fellowship, that we're considering starting a Contemplative Film Series, so stay tuned!
