Meditation Circle
This past week, 16 people came to the Meditation Circle including a 16 year old from Broward Preparatory School who came on this day last year as a way to seek solace and meaning on the anniversary of the horrific Parkland shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglass. He stayed for the whole 20 minutes of silence and was clearly moved saying it was the first time he'd ever tried contemplative prayer. He was visibly thankful for the profound experience and comfort he felt meditating in a community of strangers. In this year of perfect vision, join us every Friday immediately following the Noon Eucharist for silent prayer in the dark where the God of surprises shows up in transforming ways.
