Blessings to you as you begin to plan this important event and prepare for your new life together.  We at St. Gregory's wish to support you joyfully and lovingly in this process.  We are here to assist you as you make plans and preparations in accordance with the customs and traditions of the Episcopal Church and St. Gregory's Church.  If you have questions or need additional guidance, please contact our Wedding Coordinator or the officiating clergy person at any time.

INTRODUCTION TO CHRISTIAN MARRIAGE AND WORSHIP AT ST. GREGORY'S

Christian marriage is a solemn and public covenant between two adults in the presence of God.  It is a relationship lived out in love, trust, and forgiveness that reflects God’s relationship with us. A marriage at St. Gregory’s is a sacred time of worship giving God thanks and praise for the love that has been poured into our lives.  It is an occasion of both great joy and dignity and we are here to help you make it one of the most memorable days of your life.

At St. Gregory’s, everyone is welcome and everyone is loved. Our clergy performs the blessing of same-gender marriages and works with those who have previously been divorced to receive approval from the Bishop. 

GETTING STARTED

Please contact the office of St. Gregory’s at 561-395-8285 or office@st-gregorys.com, or by completing the form below to schedule an informational meeting with one of our clergy or St. Gregory’s Wedding Coordinator.  During the introductory meeting, we will review the guidelines for marriages, and check the availability of the church and clergy for the proposed ceremony date.

Capture your big day and share it with the ones you love. St. Gregory’s multi-camera production capabilities provide you with the option of live streaming and videotaping your ceremony. Now, those who are unable to travel for the ceremony won’t have to miss a single moment!

Music

Music is a lovely and joyful part of the occasion. Our Director of Music Ministry, Organist, and Choir Master, Mr. Timothy Brumfield, will work closely with you to ensure that your music beautifully aligns with your service.

The Venue
The Venue

The beautifully renovated Harris Hall is a three-section venue consisting of a courtyard, spacious hall, and patio is available for receptions and other wedding-related events. The hall comfortably accommodates up to 150 guests for a seated meal plus a dance floor. The adjoining courtyard and patio offer pre-banquet serving options for beverages and hors d’oeuvres.

While the Rector of St. Gregory’s Church is in charge of all weddings at the church, the Wedding Coordinator (who serves as the clergy’s representative) will work closely with you each step of the way to ensure your day is as memorable as possible.

Premarital Counseling
Premarital Counseling

Your premarital counseling will take place with the officiating clergy and will cover the Christian understanding of marriage, the basic principles of healthy and holy relationships, and the details of planning the worship service.
