THE HEART OF THE HEART

Last Sunday we had the first of our two "pilot" in-person Eucharists in the courtyard at 8 am. We were limited to 10 people but there was a palpable sense of excitement and joy among this faithful remnant who represented the entire congregation. It felt a little like Easter morning. Worshipping God in the power and presence of the Spirit, in truth and love, is the "heart of the heart" of our life together with God in Christ Jesus. It truly makes all the difference. Join me in giving thanks as we take these first careful, prayerful steps in regathering for in-person worship.
