GOD'S WAY OF LOVE

Last week we welcomed the Zeqiri family into our life in Christ at St. Gregory's with a beautiful and moving baptismal service. This holy moment happened through the movement of God's Spirit working through the family's life and through Hannah Sherman. Hannah became friends with Verona Zeqiri and invited her to participate in our youth ministry and the youth Bible Study. All of this led to Verona hearing God's clear call that it was time to be baptized. This then led to the entire family saying: this is the time. We are ready. We want to follow Jesus as Lord and walk in God's way of love.

It's often observed that Episcopalians are not the best evangelists. I don't believe this is true. When we lead people to taste the living water of God's love in Christ blessings happen. It all comes down to our availability and intentional willingness to share the deepest joys of our hearts. God and all the hosts of heaven, bathed by the tears of angels, use this to welcome hearts home to God right before our eyes!
