What kind of impact can a $5 gift card make?

Each second Sunday of the month, Meals with Meaning lunch is provided by the Kindness Angels and we are simply blown away by their generosity. They go above and beyond with all the handling of the food for Sunday's lunch and non-perishable food items. Additionally, this month they are also providing gift cards along with the food! They have truly shown Kindness to those in need. A gift card gives a person DIGNITY. With it, they have the right to enter the store with air conditioning, use the restroom and buy something they select themselves. Things that we may take for granted are priceless to them. This week, the Kindness Angels donated 122 gift cards totaling $760.00 - talk about empowering!!! We are sending love to all who help us on this community journey to help those in need.
