SALLY HARDY
Last week we held a memorial service for our beloved church member Sally Hardy. Sally's life was about making a difference. She was a tireless volunteer who gave generously of herself. She was faithful in our weekly ministry at Boca Rehab, where she helped lead worship for the residents. She and her beloved husband Robin were also active in service to our larger community. Several years ago they were recognized by the American Association of Caregiving Youth for their exemplary service.
Following the Memorial Service, we held the first outdoor reception since the pandemic started. Many people commented it almost felt like Coffee Hour had returned! We enjoyed some light refreshments and soft drinks as family and friends remembered Sally. It was a memorable and uplifting gathering. Upon reflection a number of us realized: Sally was still making a difference!
