NEW MEMBER CLASSES

We have started our Spring New Members Class. On Sunday, we meet at 11:45 AM in the St. Mary Chapel for conversation for part two of a tour of our beloved church. We have over thirty new members who have expressed interest in participating in the class. Newcomers and any member of the congregation are still welcome to join us.

Through conversation and reflection on our Anglican/Episcopal traditions, we seek to explore what it means to follow Jesus as Lord at St. Gregory’s. We also leave time for questions about our life in Christ, what I amusingly call “everything you wanted to know about the Episcopal Church but were too afraid to ask!” We take a deep dive into the ministries of St. Gregory’s, encouraging everyone to connect with a ministry where they can serve and grow in their discipleship. I experience a small miracle in every class. A bond of friendship in Christ is created through this shared experience. It is truly a work of the Holy Spirit.

Want to be a part of this movement of grace? Join us! I also recommend for further reading a text recently written by Scott Gunn and Melody Wilson Shobe entitled, “Walk in Love: Episcopal Beliefs and Practices.” Please join me in praying for our class and giving thanks for these new members who are joining our family in God at St. Gregory’s.

In Christ,

Fr. Andrew+
