FOLLOWING THE PATH OF JESUS

If you have ever heard me talk about Meals with Meaning, you have probably heard me say that this ministry is the epitome of what a community could and should be. This fact has yet again been proven in a big way. Here is just a one-week look at our incredible outreach program.

Friday - Thanks to our partners at Kindness Angels, we were connected with Journey Church in Lake Worth. They were hosting the annual “Night To Shine” event, which is a celebration centered on God's love, honoring and valuing people with special needs. Journey Church wanted to donate the catered food to Meals with Meaning. We were blown away with the 24 pans of pasta, 10 pans of sausage and meat sauce, 11 containers of salads, breadsticks, and more. We had enough for our Sunday meal and still have leftovers!

Monday – For the second year in a row, the caring residents of the Polo Club in Boca made a positive impact on their “Good Deeds Day,” They chose to volunteer for the day at Meals with Meaning. They were a joy to have with us!

Thursday – High School students from Lake Worth Christian School made the drive to St. Gregory’s to help at our daily pantry. Our guests loved the extra spark that teens can hold. Their sincere concern for our guests was inspiring and energizing.

Thanks be to God for bringing us all together in love for love. May we, at Meals with Meaning, continue to follow the path of Jesus, where all are welcome to serve, and all are welcome to be served.
