Meals with Meaning Transforming Hearts and Lives

It has been hard to count the number of online comments, emails or calls that give those at home or in isolation the gift of church and the daily office to their living room. We have more people joining in on Morning and Noonday Prayers then we ever did in person. Thank you to the staff that has shifted so quickly to bring intimate and meaningful videos online that are making a difference in lives that reach way beyond our church grounds.

As we are in the depths of the wilderness of Lent, God is with us evermore. Parallel to the traffic on the streets, for many, so has been the congestion in our heads and hearts. This freeing of the time and inner traffic has allowed many to be part of serving the human family. We have people that have never been to our church making sandwiches for our Meals with Meaning guests. Families that have been forced to stay at home have found joy in bundling hygiene kits together for those that go without the most basic essentials. We even have neighbors walking by St. Gregory’s saying thank you for taking care of the community. At Meals with Meaning, the mission is that of the church, transforming hearts and lives through Jesus’ Love. We do this by feeding the Mind, Body & Spirit. We know the power of presence, God’s presence. He is there in every bag of food, every water handed out, every smile given and received.
