From Our Homes To Yours

During Holy Week we explored new ways of experiencing and sharing worship virtually. Perhaps the most unique offering was our Easter Vigil service on last Saturday night. We divided the service into three parts which were live-streamed from three homes. Fr. Ben and the Thomas family led the lighting of the new fire of Easter and read the narratives from the Hebrew Scriptures that tell of God's saving promises and purposes. Fr. Andrew and the Sherman Family hosted the Eucharistic portion of the service from the rectory. We concluded worship with a mini Easter concert from the home of Tim Brumfield. The worship felt holy and intimate. Tim's music was shared by many people and the impact of our worship rebounded across the internet. It was a blessed and joyous beginning to our celebration of the resurrection of Jesus.
