MAY WE ALL BE ONE
This past Sunday, many of us gathered again at the beach for a Sunday Sunrise Eucharist to mark the Autumn Equinox, the seasonal turn of our year, by baptizing four people in God’s vast ocean.
I arrived at 6 am to a non-denominational service happening under the South Beach pavilion where I heard chanting while I set up the altar for our service in the sand. After baptizing one baby and two small kids and one happy mother in the sea, I wrapped things up and witnessed another service under the pavilion by some Rabbi friends as they prepared for their Holy season!
“Fr. Ben!” A Rabbi shouted. After hugging a number of friends from the Boca Raton Interfaith Clergy Association, I was simply awestruck at how God moves in this world in the diversity within union.
May we all be one.
In Christ,
Fr. Ben+
