GROWTH IN CHRIST ON DISPLAY

It was wonderful to have our children and youth in the whole service this past Sunday! Hearing the sounds of laughter in the pews and seeing small faces of devotion during the Eucharist warmed my heart. We have so much to learn from those younger than ourselves. From newborn babies to toddlers, to the poised elegance of teenagers, growth in Christ was on display and the inspiration to move from milk to solid food, as St. Paul writes about, was palpable and inspiring. A special thanks to pianist Bryce Gibbs Meacham, reader Saida Thomas, Junior Verger Judah Thomas, and acolyte Matthew Deitz who showed up in their presence as service to the whole. It makes all the difference.
