THE SOUTH FLORIDA HAITI PROJECT

The South Florida Haiti Project, a ministry birthed from St. Gregory's that includes representatives from many other congregations in our diocese, has for more than fifteen years made a difference through our partnership with the people of Bondeau, Haiti, and Bon Samaritain ("Good Samarian") church and school. This partnership has thrived through earthquakes, hurricanes, political unrest, and economic distress. Our relationship is rooted, grounded, growing in Christ Jesus. The roots are deep; the roots are strong. Some of the fruits of our partnership include a thriving school for over 300 children; a beautiful church where over 800 people can gather for worship; over 75 new homes for community members constructed by our partnership with Food for the Poor; a guesthouse for visitors and pilgrims which also serves as a residence for Fr. Phanord and extended family members; a chicken coop project that provides income and employment for the community and so much more.

The secret, holy sauce of this project is God's grace working through a partnership blessed and abiding in the transformative love of Jesus. Please continue your prayers of thanks for the South Florida Haiti Project. To learn more about The South Florida Haiti Projector to make a donation, visit www.southfloridahaitiproject.org.
