OUR LIFE OF WORSHIP

Perhaps the most transformative ministry, the ministry that truly makes a difference day in and day out, week in and week out, is our life of worship. This week we observe the Triduum (Latin for "three days") that marks the sacred time beginning with our Maundy Thursday worship and ending with the beginning of our celebration of the resurrection on Easter Sunday. These three days mark the culmination of God's work of salvation in Christ's death and resurrection.

Through the time-folding work of the Spirit in worship, we enter into this sacred time as participants who walk with Jesus in his sufferings that we might share in the power of the resurrection. In the deep places of our souls, we find the healing that only God gives and share in the new creation. Like seeds planted in the soil, through Jesus' death and resurrection our lives "are hid with Christ" and the new life of grace germinates and grows. That is truly God making a difference in our lives, now and forever. Thanks be to God!
