PERSONAL STORY OF BAPTISM AND NEW BIRTH!

This past Sunday during Beach Eucharist, we were blessed by God's presence in so many ways. The backdrop was a beautiful setting for worship and thanksgiving. We also celebrated a life made new in Christ with the baptism of Kim Lu. Her follow-up letter to Fr. Andrew and Fr. Ben captured the magnitude of the baptism experience and abundant joy with a life cleansed and reborn in Christ's likeness. Let us celebrate the new life of our sister in Christ, Kim Lu in her own words.

Dear Father Andrew & Father Ben,

Thank you thank you thank you for such an epic full immersion baptismal experience today! Arch Angel Michael does not disappoint. I had a great time! The high tides accentuated my reading on my Baptism as my participation in Christ’s death & resurrection, my conversion, pardoning, cleansing and new birth into a deeper life with Christ. I feel evermore anointed and responsible in leading God’s people in building God’s kingdom here on earth.

Clearly God was speaking and claiming his children. All present had answered His call to witness the Holy Spirit and I hope they had as much fun renewing their walk with the Lord through renewal of their baptismal vows.

I am grateful for you both as spiritual teachers and very much look forward to deepening my faith through fellowship at St Gregory’s. I love these pictures - it’s like a calling card for more Christians to be baptized in the Atlantic Ocean!
