Holy Mother of The Inexhaustible Chalice
This past Sunday we blessed the icon Our Holy Mother of the Inexhaustible Chalice. A gift to our parish and community from the incredibly talented Icon Writer and leader of our Icon Guild, Brooks Wilson.
Every week, St. Gregory's hosts over 500 people in the recovery movement and Brooks' writing this icon was her gift to them and to all of us who occupy that space on a weekly basis, seeking our way out of addictions and deeper into the heart of God. The icon will be hung in Harris Hall with a description and background of the icon framed and hung beside it. And below it will be these beautiful cards and book markers that contain both the image and the Serenity Prayer: "God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference." Amen.
