God's Calling

Over the past year we've highlighted special encounters, events and activities that have highlighted how St. Gregory's is making a difference in Boca and beyond. For this week, I want to highlight the difference two special people have made: their names are Mary and Joseph. Mary, a young woman with astonishing courage who gave her consent to God's plan for her to bear the Christ-child. Joseph, a man of quiet faith, who trusted a dream that said Mary's pregnancy was from God and that the child was to be named Jesus (which is Greek for "Joshua") whose name means: God saves! What a difference these two people have made in their faithful "yes" to God. As the year 2019 comes to end and we celebrate the birth of Christ into the world I wonder: where God is calling us to co-operate with God's plans and what a difference this will make?!
