DIVINE LOVE REVEALED

Every Sunday we celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. It's a cherished tradition and over the years I've developed a signature prayer that speaks about being "rooted, grounded, growing and thriving" in God's love in Christ. Last Sunday, one of our members made a special effort to attend in-person worship to receive this blessing. As he rose with some care, his beloved wife placed her hand gently on his back to provide support and to show love. It was a simple, ordinary even gesture. But to all who witnessed it, it was so full of tender love deepened over many years of marriage, that it moved many of us to silent tears. These are true epiphanies--moments that reveal the boundless depths of divine love. And they make a difference!
