A FULLER STATE OF BEING

This past Saturday evening over 60 of us do what we do best here at St. Gregory’s, we took Church beyond the walls and to the beach! To both celebrate the end of the 2022-2023 calendar year and, with an aim from the psalmist, we contemplated:

“Be still and know that I am God.”

As we cross the threshold in our seasonal world into summer and cross the threshold of our spiritual hearts, we contemplate Jesus’ return to the Father in the Ascension, and what His parting gift of the Holy Spirit of God is to us as we approach Pentecost. What does it mean that as Jesus leaves, he gives? What a mysterious exchange we embarked on, seaside, with meditation stones to prompt us into a fuller state of being.

Blessings,
