ST. GREGORY'S PROGRESSIVE DINNER 2022
The Progressive Dinner was held last Saturday, and the lovely comments keep coming in! The evening began in the Hamister Family Courtyard where the dinner participants enjoyed champagne, wine, and beautiful appetizers that were passed by many of St. Gregory´s youth, which added a very special touch. Fortunately, the light rain ended by the time the group headed for seven different dinner destinations. Dinners were held in homes, including backyards, poolside, and restaurants, and everyone enjoyed lovely meals and conversation. The evening ended with desserts from Seasons 52 at the courtyard, where diners, guests, and hosts exchanged stories and menu favorites.
So, what made this special was that every host carefully planned their dinner, and this gracious group of people includes Andy Rossi and Hank Drummond, Isabelle Paul, Debora and Walt Wadsworth, Anna and Ben Thomas, Vanessa and John Havener, Barbara and Ed Rivera, and Rebecca and Jim Sorenson. Thoughtfully coordinated, each dinner told a story. Additionally, the generosity of the underwriters, Cindy and Stephen Von Oehsen, April and Christopher Thomson, Carole Boucard and Andrea and Danville Chang, enriched the evening's experience by providing the champagne and wine for the opening, appetizers, dinner wine, and desserts.
Lastly, a big thank you to Anita Sherman, who orchestrated the opening and closing of the memorable evening. Her special touch is always present at every Progressive Dinner and her husband Fr. Andrew, does a pretty good job as well!
