CONFIRMATION CLASS

Next Sunday we resume our Confirmation Class for young people in grades six through eight. Our three-year curriculum introduces our confirmands to the depth and breadth of Life in Christ in the Episcopal Anglican tradition. Gena Vallee and I teach the class. This is truly a time of joyous formation and connection with God. We always begin with the question: Where did you meet God this week? A question worth intentionally pondering for all of us. The responses to this question launch our weekly engagement with scripture and worship and theology and what happened at school this past week. This holy time is never dull and leaves me in a state of joyous expectation for the following Sunday's class.

My prayer is that this truly equips our young people for a lifetime relationship with God in Jesus Christ, daily renewed by the Holy Spirit. In my mind and heart, there is no bigger difference we can make as a church family.
