St. Gregory’s is excited to be holding its new men’s retreat April 1-2 at the Duncan Conference Center (15820 S. Military Trail) in Delray Beach.
The title of the retreat is “Growing a Relationship with God: Practices that Connect Us to the Holy One.” Participants will explore different ways of connecting with God, experience the holy practice of walking the labyrinth, and reflect on the role of scripture in daily prayer and worship. Attendees will also learn more about icons and their spiritual significance, participate in centering prayer, and discuss the role of an inventory of life and confession in spiritual growth. Fr. Andrew and Fr. Craig of St. Gregory’s and Fr. Charles Browning of the Chapel of Saint Andrew will lead the retreat. This retreat was launched as part of St. Gregory’s “Spiritual Growth: Transforming Hearts” initiative.

The retreat, organized jointly with the Chapel of Saint Andrew, begins at 5 p.m. on April 1 and concludes with a celebration of the Holy Eucharist at 1 p.m. on April 2. The cost is $60 for commuters, $140 for overnight guests in a double room, or $185 for overnight guests in a single room. Overnight guests will be accommodated on-site at the Duncan Center. Meals are included for all attendees and non-members are welcome. For commuters, activities will conclude for the evening at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Friday and resume at 8 a.m. on Saturday morning.
