I came to St. Gregory’s in August of 2012 after serving at All Saints Episcopal Church in Fort Lauderdale for two years. I am a native Floridian, growing up in Miami, FL, in a family of Cuban immigrants. I come from a large family of eight children.
I received my Bachelors degree in Environmental Studies from Florida International University and received a Masters Degree in City and Regional Planning from the University of Memphis. I attended The Episcopal Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, TX where I received my Masters in Divinity Degree in 2010.
Prior to seminary I worked for over ten years as a computer consultant and later a Manager in Information Systems for the Johnson and Johnson family of companies. While there I managed and worked in many different management roles and capabilities. I am also a mother to teenage daughter, Victoria, and guardian to my teenage nephew, Adrian.
