Community Support and Resources

 

St. Gregory’s is proud to serve as a meeting point for local support groups, provide counseling services, fund scholarship and food programs, and offer a library. Below you will find information about the many ways we provide support and resources for our community and congregation.

Counseling: St. Gregory’s lovingly provides counseling services.
A therapist from Community Christian Counseling Center offer services right here at St. Gregory’s. Counselors are trained and ready to help you with a variety of life issues. Read more about our Christian Counselor.

Stephen Ministry: St. Gregory’s is also a Stephen Ministry congregation. Our Stephen Ministers care for people who are experiencing difficult and stressful situations, supplementing and extending the pastoral work of our clergy. Read more about our Stephen Ministers.

Recovery Groups: St. Gregory’s hosts several recovery groups during the week.  We believe these groups perform a vital service of providing support for those dealing with addiction issues.  For more information about meeting times, contact the church office at 561.395.8285 or email us at office@st-gregorys.com
Monday, 7:30 p.m.: Narcotics Anonymous Clean Scene in Harris Hall
Tuesday, 7:30 p.m.: Alcoholics Anonymous in Harris Hall
Wednesday, 12 noon: Alcoholics Anonymous in Choir Room
Wednesday, 8:30 p.m.: Boca Speaker’s Group

Anne de Wolfe Food Fund: Established with a generous gift from Anne de Wolfe, the Anne de Wolfe Food Fund provides financial support to ministries that feed the needy. The ministry has successfully supported food ministries for more than 20 years. Read more about the Anne de Wolfe Food Fund.

Von Kreuter Seminarian Scholarship: The Helena Von Kreuter Seminarian Scholarship Fund was established by a gift from the estate of St. Gregory’s member Helena Von Kreuter to assist full-time seminarians training for ordained leadership in the Episcopal Church. Library: Our church library contains nearly 2,000 books including 36 Bibles in various translations. There are books exclusively on the Old Testament and New Testament as well as titles on many religious topics and personages. Books are available for signing out and taking home. Do stop by to browse and find some good reading!
