For Families

families2Parents of St. Gregory’s: The Parents of St. Gregory’s Ministry was formed in 2001 to provide a venue for parents to meet on a regular basis to discuss parenting topics. The meetings are usually held on the third Friday of every month from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and include a pot luck dinner, topic discussion and group feedback. Child care is always available. The topics presented range from discipline, parent-child communication, college funding, marriage therapy, child safety, reading skills, adolescence issues, fitness and health, and Christian values. The topics are mostly targeted for parents with young children (ages 2 to 13). For more information about Parents of St. Gregory’s, contact Rev. Benjamin Thomas.

Serve Together: We encourage families to serve together on the altar by participating in our worship teams. Children age eight and older are invited to serve as acolytes during Sunday morning worship, and parents are welcome to be ushers, greeters, lectors, acolytes, and more. Make the sacred traditions of the Episcopal Church part of your family life! Read more about serving on a worship team.
